Nike SB Koston 2 Max Releasing Soon!

If it works once, you should do it again, right? Coming right of the heels of the the announcement of the Stefan Janoski Max, the Koston 2 gets the same treatment in what could be once of the more interesting skate shoes released all year. For those of you who do not know, the Koston 2 is one of the greatest skate shoes ever released in terms of comfort and wearability, and is only rivaled by the now released Nike SB Lunar One Shot in terms of skateability. Using the same upper styling of the Koston 2, the Max version of the Koston 2 adds the a hyperfuse and mesh upper, an Air Max 90 midsole, and a Free Run outsole. If there is one question I do have about this shoe, other than the obvious question of how well a Free Run outsole do in terms of grip on a skateboard, it is if the usual Koston lunarlon insole will be used, or will be scrapped for a thin ortholite insole instead? With the Koston 2 being an absolute beast for skating in, it will be intriguing to see if the Koston 2 Max can live up to the shoe it was modeled after.

As of now there is no release date for these, or a price set, but expect these to release sometime very soon and in the price range of $100-$120. Stay with Collective Kicks and we will update you when more info on these is available.
