2014 Air Jordan 6 Retro “Infrared” Detailed Images

As well all know, 2013 was the year of the Air Jordan 5, the 23rd Anniversary. That magic number 23 continues on into 2014 with the next Air Jordan model. This model is the Air Jordan 6 appropriately claiming 2014 as its year. Many Sneaker Heads are looking forward to 2014 for the return of many coveted and oh so classic Air Jordan 6’s. These colorways include the White Infrared, Black Infrared, Carmine, etc. So far we know for sure that the White Infrared Air Jordan 6 will be retroing, but as far as the rest, there have been no significant confirmations yet but there are promising rumors as well as potential pictures of these other Air Jordan 6’s that will most likely release throughout the year.

In 2013 we experienced not only a return of many original Air Jordan 5 colorways but many new and well embraced colorways as well. This year seems to be no different; Nike/Jordan will definitely be bringing us never before seen Air Jordan 6 colorways that will surely be a hit.

One of the first Air Jordan 6’s that is to be released this year is you guessed it a new colorway. This new colorway utilizes one of the most iconic colors of all time, used not only on the Air Jordan 6. This color is infrared, that was first seen on the Air Max 90 as well as the Air Jordan 6. They were released in 1990 and 1991 respectively and have since then been revered as timeless classics.

This Air Jordan 6 is dubbed the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” and has also been named “Infrared 23”. It utilizes a full grain leather upper with areas of tumbled leather similar to the leather pattern used on the Air Jordan 6 “Olympic”. The entire upper is in an ever so eye-catching infrared, with a hint of red, at least in pictures that is. Aside from that the shoe is balanced out with the rest of it being blacked out. Those black parts include a solid black outsole with its icy portions of course along with an infrared Jumpman, an entirely black midsole with an infrared Air Unit, and a black tongue, laces, and inner lining. Other than that the shoe is completed with an infrared Jumpman on the tongue patch, unique to the Air Jordan 6, a strip of infrared running along the plastic heel tab, and infrared lacelocks with a black Jumpman.

All in all the shoe is looking better and better, especially with these new detailed pictures. As of now these may be a potential cop for me but take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself!

No set release date has been determined yet but look for these to release in the coming months.
