West NYC tackles the Saucony Shadow 5000 once again, this time bringing us a timely fall/winter themed shoe after creating the sought after “Tequila Sunrise” just two months ago. Deep brown suede wraps the lower portion of the upper, and holds up the teal and navy which crisscross the middle of the shoe. Hits of red can be seen on the heel, tongue, eyelets, while also subtlety speckling the navy portion of the midsole. West NYC has also produced a video introducing us to their urban version of “Cabin Fever”. From the video I think it is safe to assume that West NYC took cues from one of the most notable features of New York for their inspiration: Central Park. The teal and black seem to speak to elements (i.e. lake, concrete, etc)  within the park while the brown resembles the ground which surrounds it. These are of course just my guesses, and I am sure we will get more information about the back story regarding this collaboration soon. However if all you care about is how to get your hands on a pair of these, via their instagram, West NYC will be dropping the “Cabin Fever” Saucony on November 9th in store for $130 and come complete with a special packaging which can be seen in the video below. Online information is unavailable at this time but we will be sure to keep you up to date. Check out the video below and let us know if you’re feeling this thematic sneaker.
