TOP 10 SNEAKER / FOOD PORN INSTAGRAMS TO FOLLOW

Here is my personal Top 10 list of people I follow on Instagram who I follow that have sneaker porn and food porn alike.  I don’t know about you all, but I appreciate a nice picture of a burger adventure or some amazing desserts!  If you liked this article, please share it!!

So here we go!  My top 10 list begins, to FOLLOW any of the instragrams below, click the names for a link!

10 – l3ennyl3boy503

Benny and the rest of the guys he hangs out with have an incredible collection of sneakers, but they also eat like kings.  Benny is always being featured for his Oregon Duck Jordan 4s, everywhere I turn haha!  But to that I must say #GOBEAVS

He always has some crazy asian dish that I would definitely die from (Allergic to shell fish) but they always look so good!

 

9 – air_chewy

Newer to his IG, he has some great selection of sneakers including some OG Concords and Black Cement 3s.  Some nice shots as well, definitely worth a look.

If you dig back a bit however you can see that chewy (like myself) has a sweet tooth lol.  He has some crazy pics of some epic desserts!  He doesnt post as much food porn anymore because he said he was getting fat lmao!

 

8 – sole_champ

I have been a fan of his picture for awhile now, really dig the family shots of matching Jordans!  It’s cool that he gets Jordans for more that just himself, respect!

Truffle fries tho.. thats whats up!  And you can never go wrong with some baby back ribs!  Great shots.

 

7 – alexologist

Alex followed me on twitter, and I ALWAYS get tweets from him saying he liked my youtube videos, a very supportive guy!  I recognized his name on IG and followed him back, he has some heat!

 

He also posts some great shots of food that make me want to visit asia, always eats lots of sushi it looks like!

 

6 – johnnyhobravo

Another local that i was able to meet that has loads of sneakers!  I like some of the angles he gets on his kicks, very cool.

He also gets some great angles on some food porn!  That burger tho!  Has PDX written all over it, and those egg rolls look amazing.

 

5 – jailblazin

Jailblazin or Ira, is a cool dude, he works the social media for Compound Gallery, and if you didnt already know, they are my favorite local sneaker boutique in Portland.  He takes some crazy clean shots of sneakers almost daily, and is the farthest thing from a hypebeast as you can get, he will pull out a pair of kicks you will have forgotten about completely and make you want them.

 

If you follow Jailblazin he will show you how portland eats well, I still need to go to this donut place!

 

 

4 –buddahafist69

New to budda’s page, I didn’t know what to expect when fomersimpson recommended him for this article.  I was happy to see a huge variety in foamposites, but more than that, budda has a crazy amount of selection, not single branded.  very diverse, and I love seeing these Tuned Airs in the mix!

 

How he made list however was for is microbrew obsession.  I also enjoy a nice microbrew, but when a guy switches out that pint glass for a snifter?  Thats a win to me!

 

3 – erik23swag

I was referred to this page also, and I am glad i checked it out, has a great sneaker collection with some excellent photos, but the burgers speak loud on this page!  I love the shot of the quagmire SBs with the motel in the back “giggity!”

But his page earns the number 3 spot because of these crazy burger shots, 4 patties!!  Dude!  And sooo many shots haha!  It reminds me we need an “In and Out Burger” in Oregon.

 

2 – sk8thegr8

Takes home the number 2 spot, he has an unreal collection.  You can tell that he is a seasoned vet by the posts he makes.  I have been collecting a long time also, and he posts vintage Nikes that I don’t even know the names of.  A very insane collection as you can see, and he took the boxes picture 3 years ago!

But really what got him to the number 2 spot was because he had a “Cronut” in the mix.  He wasn’t a fan of the hype haha but the fact that he had the epic picture just made me want to head across the US for one.  He also has some epic food porn pictures on a regular basis, worth a look!

 

1 – russbengtson

The reason I have Russ in the Number 1 spot is simple, it is because of him that I even decided to do this article.  If you don’t know who Russ Bengtson is, he is sort of a big deal.  People know him.  He is the other half of the “Quick Strike” segment on Complex with DJ Clark Kent.  If you saw Russ on the street with that massive beard, you would not think he was a sneaker connoisseur but don’t let the unassuming face fool you, he will drop some knowledge on you.  He has what some would consider “heat” but he also has his own unique style, something most sneakerheads will never have because they are trying to emulate someone elses style, not create there own.

But lets get into the reason we are even here, FOOD PORN.  Seeing his posts of meals make me want to be a better person lol.  No really though, it makes me want to learn how to cook!  That is the part that makes this IG special is the meals appear to be home cooked by his girlfriend (I think?) monchichi.  By the looks of things Russ benifits from the eccentric meals on a regular basis!  I rarely want to be anything but myself, but I wouldn’t mind being in Russ’s shoes for a day, literally speaking.
