Adidas miCoach Smart Run Watch
Adidas announced their fitness tracking watch, the Adidas miCoach Smart Run Watch, a day after the announcement of the Nike Fuelband SE. The watch has many features but I’m going to try to keep it short.
The battery is a 410 mAh li-ion battery which features 3 different battery modes. Casual,Marathon, and Training .
- Casual mode: Adidas claims that if the watch is in Casual mode you will be able to get 14 days worth of battery life, but the watch will not collect any health data.
- Marathon mode: Gathers health data every five seconds and the battery will last around 8 hours.
- Training mode: Captures data every second and battery life will only last about 4 hours.
The Adidas miCoach Smart Run Watch was created to be a standalone device by being able to track steps, distance traveled, stride rate, and heart rate with its built in heart monitor and accelerometer, the watch also include gps, wireless audio and has bluetooth capabilities. The touch screen watch(263.1 mm long, 48.4 mm wide, 15.6 mm thick) holds up to 3 GB of music and coaches you telling you to speed up or slow down. The watch weighs 2.8 oz and is operated on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1.
The watch is very durable from its gorilla glass screen to its stainless steel construction and magnesium back plate. No matter what exercise, you know smart run watch will survive the toughest activities.If you are really into fitness this is the watch for all you fitness connoisseur. US price of the Adidas miCoach Smart Run Watch is $399 and £350 in the UK and will release November 1st.
