Nike went all out for the “nike+” technology in 2013, however I don’t think they got the response they wanted from the sales of the technology.  It seems they have pulled Nike Plus out of the technology out of Nike ID options.  Previously it was a more expensive option that you could add to the sneakers but it would cost more with it.  I bought my custom “Big Bang” Lebron X IDs, and I paid $240 for them with the Nike + technology and the diamond swoosh

Now the prices only vary $10 and you can get a Diamond swoosh or not, no mention on Nike+ but I wonder what that means for Nike+ in the long run? will they not integrate this with the Lebron XI?  In my opinion, it was a great concept for pushing sneakers into the future but the consumers are not ready for it, nor do they care.  To make things worse, the tiered pricing plans were very confusing to consumers, and because of this many people just choose to stay away from the Lebron X in fear of the rumored $315 price tag.  Finally, no one actually used the technology, these shoes are performance sneakers, but they also are lifestyle shoes, and I dont want to measure how high I just or any other metrics related.  Sometimes less is more.

You can see below that the Lebron X P.S/ Elite + is the only model left that has the Nike + technology and that version only came bundled with it, no option without nike+.

Lastly, you can see the price of the Nike ID Lebron Elite X with and with out the diamond swoosh, price difference only $10.
