“BEL AIR” ORIGINS & THE REAL JORDAN “BEL AIR PACK”
With the wave of crazy “Bel Air” sneaker colorways on various models of Jordans coming out soon, I wanted to give a bit more background of the sneaker color origins. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was a 90s sitcom featuring Will Smith as the “Fresh Prince”, he was always sporting the latest Jordan’s and most noteworthy was the Jordan 5s as seen below.
So now we have the Bel Air Jordan 5 retroing soon, and this is what it looks like:

Is it possible the custom Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Jordan 5s looked better that the pair releasing?
Why is Jordan Brand making what looks like a “bel air pack” of sneakers, with no historical value to the show?
IF ANYTHING, they should have included these Columbia XI while referencing a “Bel Air” sneaker, considering it was worn on the last episode of Fresh Prince.
So my thought is, these Jordan 5s (Grapes, Metallic, Fire Red Silver Tongue) are really the “Bel Air Pack” since these are the ones he wore:
