Retrospect: Jordan VI VII Gold Moments Pack: 1 Year Ago
So it’s crazy to think it has been already 1 year since this pack dropped, but on Aug 18th 2013 the “Golden Moments Pack” dropped last year, featuring the Jordan VI (White & Gold) and the Jordan VII (Black & Gold). We saw leaked versions of the VI all over the web, but the 7s and the packaging were definitely more secretive until launch.
Here is my review of the pack from 1 year ago – Jordan VI VII GMP:
Did you pick up the pack? did you keep it of flip it? It seems that they hype was unreal on the launch, selling for more that $500-$600, however they made this pack a very large spread release (i think it was even a GR- General Release) so with so many packs available, it drove the market price down drastically.
I still thing this was a great pack, and i am very happy i was able to get them!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Air Jordan pack, and one with this amount of positive praise. The Air Jordan “Golden Moments” Pack looks to take flight at Jordan Brand retailers this weekend. Going on sale on August 18, 2012, the black, white, and gold variant package is selling for the hefty price of $350. Accompanying the shoes are two American flag-branded shoe sacks that add patriotic essence. Will you cop the pack or is it a simple pass?

Pay tribute to the two pairs of shoes that lead MJ to the dream in 1992. The Jordan AJ Golden Moment Pack is made up of the legendary Retro 6 and Retro 7. With the same iconic silhouettes updated in Dream-inspired colors, this pack is a must-have for any serious sneaker collection. The Retro 6 showcases a white leather-and-synthetic upper with gold accents appearing on the interior liner, heel spoiler and lace lock for a durable fit that shows respect to the best team ever assembled. Additional features include a cushioning polyurethane midsole with a large volume Air® unit in the heel and forefoot as well as a solid rubber outsole with a Jordan-specific pattern to maximize performance and style. Next in line is the Retro 7. This Dream-inspired pair features a predominately black durabuck-and-leather upper with a neoprene dynamic-fit inner sleeve for durable comfort. Below the dream-inspired upper lies a cushioning polyurethane midsole outfitted with a flexible Air-Sole® unit in the forefoot and heal for comfort. The finishing touch is a solid rubber outsole with triangular traction pattern for court-inspired grip on the streets.
