A New Take on the Nike Air Maestro by Ronnie Fieg?

It appears Ronnie Fieg’s next collaborative effort is going to be with Nike on Scottie Pippen’s one time shoe, the classic Nike Air Maestro.

Heralded as one of the best in the business when it comes to sneaker collaborations, the owner of Kith, Ronnie Fieg, is giving his own take on a classic Nike Basketball silhouette. As far as major differences from the iconic 90’s basketball shoe; the obvious things I can notice from Fieg’s IG post are the additional swoosh on the toe box, the asymmetrical lacing system complimented by a zipper enclosure on the medial side, as well as a medial ankle strap that connects to the tongue.  In typical Fieg fashion, the upper looks to be comprised of high quality suede in different hues of purple.

There is no official release date on this collaboration yet, but I’m sure we’ll find out when and how much these beauties will be soon enough!
