With rumors already swirling that Nike, adidas, and Under Armour have rejected the idea of signing Lonzo Ball to a sneaker deal, it’s no surprise the Big Baller Brand aka BBB run by Lonzo’s father Lavar Ball has decided to come out with their own shoe for Lonzo, the ZO2 Prime.
Lavar has said and done some very outlandish and questionable things in recent history, but this takes the cake. The BBB ZO2 Prime is supposedly going to retail for…. wait for it.. $495. Yes, you read that right. If that wasn’t enough, there is also a special edition version of the sneaker that comes in a LED box and is signed by Lonzo himself for a staggering $995! Yikes. I mean if it came with Lavar’s signature, I might have to to think twice…
According to Slam Online the shoes do come with a lot of new and um unproven tech.
“His ZO2 signature sneaker features python microfiber texture, patent leather heel logos and a gel outsole with a hand-painted DeLorean finish.”
So there’s that. For some reason if you are interested in preordering the sneaker, click HERE for the link. (please don’t)
