So while we all wait to see what Lebron’s “Strap 14s” will look like, some nice detailed images of the upcoming Jordan Melo 13 surfaced. The sneaker appears to have a mostly Curim upper, (found on the Lebron 13 Elite and the Jordan Ultra Fly) which is basically mesh with tpu/rubber overlays for additional support and structure. The front of the toe box and most of the medial side appears to be more of a softer traditional mesh. The tooling is your run of the mill flight speed system with unlocked forefoot zoom which has been the Melo formula for his last couple of signature models.
What are your thoughts on the Melo 13? I think it’s going to be great performer based off of these images with only traction being a question mark. I didn’t like the 31s’ traction (performance review HERE), hopefully the Melo 13s improve in that aspect of performance.
The Jordan Melo 13 is scheduled to release in January of 2017.
