A lot of pink and Nike Dunk Sky Highs? Not quite. Female sneakerheads are an integral part of sneaker culture, yet remain underserved. Influence means that even when a woman isn’t paying for something herself, she is often the influence or veto vote behind someone else’s purchase.” So, how come brands and companies aren’t jumping at opportunities to collaborate with female sneaker influencers? In the culture’s current state, we’re seeing more and more acknowledgement of female designers and athletes, and that in itself is a step in the right direction.
