Converse gives us a fall update with a special “DWR” or Durable Water Repellent upper for a number of Converse sneakers. These are perfect for those like myself that live in a rainy state and to get the extra weather protection on your sneakers is an added bonus. My favorite is the Chuck 2, especially with the Lunarlon insole.

More info on the collection here:
Each climate-shield canvas sneaker, including the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II, has been given a durable water repellant (DWR) treatment. Additionally, the medial eyelets of the All Star II have been removed and a gusseted tongue added to further repel the elements. Reflective heel webbing and barrel laces increase visibility in low light.
The new Fall/Holiday 2016 Converse Counter Climate Shield Canvas Footwear and Apparel Collection launches August 9 at Converse retail stores on Converse.com.
