The Air Jordan 8 was seen by spectators, teammates, and competitors of Micheal Jordan as he fought for and clinched his third consecutive title. More than twenty years later, the Air Jordan 8, with its cross straps design, returns honoring that title. Two variations of the Air Jordan 8 will be released, similar to the previous 2 releases of the Air Jordan 6 and 7.
Creamy leather covers the first sneaker as gold accents give a nod to the luxurious feeling of being a champion. The fingerprints on the gold represent Jordan’s passing of the Larry O’Brien trophy to his teammates. Under the straps read “WORLD CHAMPIONS” and “AGAIN AND AGAIN”. To finish it off, the outsole is given a milky translucent look.
Gradeschool and Men sizes are available on June 25th at 10 EDT. GS sizes will be released at Nike.com while men sizes will be released only in SNKRS.
GS (3.5y – 7y) – $180
Men (7.5 – 12,13,14) – $250
The second sneakers features a confetti theme as the upper is covered in black leather. Patent leather shines bright in the heel area as the confetti print can be seen on the liner and other accent areas. The straps read “WORLD CHAMPIONS” and “AGAIN AND AGAIN” while a gold jumpman on the tongue finishes off the look. The Air Jordan 8 “Confetti” will be available in men sizes only on the 25th here.
