If you’re into sneaker performance reviews, you’re most likely familiar with Nightwing2303 (Twitter, IG, YouTube) and his site Weartesters. If you are not, then I highly recommend getting familiar with him and his site because when it comes to sneaker performance related content, nobody does it better than those guys (props to Jahronmon, NYJumpman23, The Wong Kicks, Duke4005, and the rest of Weartesters fam for their outstanding work as well!). Ever since watching Nightwing’s performance review on the Jordan 2010 5+ years ago, he has been my go to when it comes to performance reviews for “kicks on court”.
Brandblack, the up and coming brand responsible for Jamal Crawford’s signature basketball shoe, teamed up with Nightwing to create a “Weartesters” version of the Brandblack Ether. It’s a beautiful collaboration shoe, mixing old school design with new school tech. You just can’t go wrong with a classic black and white colorway with a gum bottom. Kudos to Nightwing for keeping things simple. The price is also a modest $120, which happens to be the regular retail price on Brandblack Ethers.
This release will be available in-store at BAIT (San Francisco) and online on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Stay tuned to Collectivekicks, links will be posted as soon as they become available! I am definitely copping a pair, will you?
