Germany truly does make the best products! Having just done one of the hottest SB Dunks in the last few years, German skate shop Civilist is back with two new collaborations that they have called the “River Spree” collection, which will be releasing this weekend on July 11th.
Based off of the River Spree, which runs through the city of Berlin where Civilist is located, the company decided to go a much different route than there former collab. Utilizing the Stefan Janoski and Stefan Janoski Max (which is a criminally underutilized silhouette), the team at Civilist gave both sneakers a tonal black upper with a “wave-graphic” hit to represent the water in the river. Keeping that water theme going, Civlist also made both uppers waterproof, a very nice touch if you ask me. Add in a rainbow tongue tag on the regular Stefan Janoski, meant to echo the look of sunshine hitting water, and what you get is an extremely well-executed and clean pack.
While prices have not been set as of yet, expect both of these to run in the $90-$110 range, and to be released only at select SB retailers. As always, stay with CollectiveKicks for all your sneaker news and reviews!
