Hey CK family although I know it is already confirmed for a holiday 2015 season release as a “Remastered ” Retro, this shoe is one I am eagerly awaiting as it is one of my all time favorite sneakers and one of the two Jordan 8’s I actually like. It also does not take a rocket scientist to see why these shoes are called “Aqua 8’s” as the shoes feature an all black suede upper in contrast  to their signature aqua blue and purple midsole. These shoes are truly iconic and one of the most highly sought after Jordan retroes due to factors such as being an OG colorway, and sadly the Kanye effect. Tech wise these sneakers were the second signature Jordan to utilize Nike’s Huarache sock-liner technology in the early 1990’s following the use of Huarache on the Jordan 7. The pair pictured here originally came out in 2013 which seems so far away because of all the great shoes released between then and now. These shoes much like other single digit retro Jordan’s prove that that the most simplistic of colorways are often the best ones, something JB should return to as it approaches the release of the Jordan 30.
