#FORGOTTENFRIDAYS Nike Kobe 7 “Invisibility Cloak”

So far in the series I have yet to reintroduce a Kobe model, this one in particular to my memory at least did not get very known until right before and after its release.Originally released on October 20th of 2012 for a 140 dollars these Kobe’s were overlooked for the White Cement 4’s which released around the same time. However they feature an iridescent upper that begins as a purple-bluish hue, but changes in the light the first shoe to be “Cloaked”. The shoe’s also feature black reptilian like pieces on the ankle and tongue. Also featured is the Kobe  logo in a salmon pink on the tongue and bottom of the outsole. The heel clip and rear part of the mid-sole feature more of the blue-purple hue to begin with however almost the entire shoe changes color. In addition the shoe features 3M reflective swooshes and Kobe’s signature embossed in silver also on the heel clip. Three thirds of the outsole is translucent and tinted icy blue, the other third is a solid black rubber continuing the theme of change in this model . As I previously mentioned this shoe was released two day after one of many people’s grail kicks in the Air Jordan White Cement 4 ,and was a backup plan not a release day priority to many sneakerheads. However the Kobe 7 is still a stunning silhouette in my opinion, and colorways such as this one were over shadowed by the heat released in 2012.“There is nothing new except what has been forgotten.” And this one might just be new to you.
