Originally released in 2001 this retro took on one of the most popular silhouettes , and as the Jordan 3 is currently in the Nike vault until further notice, I thought it would be nice to bring up a shoe some people may not even remember exist. Against the predominantly white upper, mocha brown is featured on parts of the outsole, elephant print, Jumpman, and heel lace loops. A far cry from current retro prices these shoes retailed for $100 dollars just thirteen -almost fourteen years ago. A fact some may find amazing as the early 2000’s featured excellent quality materials and craftsmanship across the board versus the lack of current quality control and the annual to bi-annual price increase. Perhaps in late 2015 or early 2016 we see a remastered Jordan 3 giving back some credibility to a shoe that Nike knows it flooded the market with in recent months. Social media and a decline in first day sales has definitely had an impact, giving voice to regular consumers and sneakerheads alike to demand for better product. However it would also be refreshing to the retro market overall to see one of the older non og colorways make a return much like the Columbia and Oreo 4’s in 2015.We continue with our Forgotten Friday axiom :,“There is nothing new except what has been forgotten.” Source: KicksOnFire Any feedback or Suggestions Please leave in the comments to help me give better content for you readers.
