Taking Paris to the Far-East! For almost year, I had dreamed of being able to do a pair of customs, but unfortunately, I never was able to find the right guy who could bring my dream shoe to life. That’s where the man himself, JP Custom Kicks came in, and he was able to bring my idea of doing a Japanese shoes to life.
The shoe, which takes artwork from three famous ukiyo-e paintings, was inspired by my Japanese heritage and love of old-school SBs. Utilizing these paintings in the same manner of the classic “Paris” Dunk Low, JP used the “White Ice” Dunk Low from this year as the base shoe to transform the ultimate canvas into a sneaker that had even Shane Victorino going nuts over these!
